Next year, in 2025, Apple will probably show us its new phones. Many people think they will be called the iPhone 17. Apple usually shows new iPhones in September. This new one could have some cool new things. There might be a new kind of iPhone called the iPhone 17 Air. People say this phone could be super thin. It might be the thinnest iPhone ever made by Apple.
The camera on the front, the one you use for selfies, might get much better on all the new iPhone 17s. Your pictures could look clearer. The more expensive phones, like the iPhone 17 Pro, might get even better cameras on the back. They could be really good for photos and maybe even take super high-quality videos (called 8K).
Inside the phones, there will likely be new computer chips to make them faster. These are usually called A-series chips. All the iPhone 17 phones might also get more memory. This helps the phone do many things at once and could help with smart new features. They might also get faster internet using something called Wi-Fi 7. The screens on the new iPhones could also be better. It might feel smoother when you scroll up and down on all the models. The screens could also be stronger so they don't scratch as easily. The black bar at the top of the screen might get smaller too.
Regarding the physical design, the Pro models might see a shift in materials, possibly returning to an aluminum frame instead of titanium, potentially paired with a refined glass back. A new "Sky Blue" color option is also rumored for these high-end versions. The appearance of the rear camera module could also undergo a redesign, with some speculating about a more rectangular or even a horizontally aligned camera bump on certain models.
It's good to remember that Apple hasn't told us any of this for sure. These are just ideas and rumors people are talking about. So, things might be different when Apple actually shows the phones. But if these ideas are right, the new iPhone 17 could be very exciting.
